Secure VIP Transportation – Executive Protection by ESS

A recent article in the New Yorker points to big security issues in the VIP Limousine Industry. Be safe, not sorry. Hire Secure VIP Transportation through ESS Global.

Secure VIP Transportation – Executive Protection by ESS

In a recent article in the New Yorker Magazine, Nicholas Schmidle exposed how TMZ digs up “Celebrity Dirt” and we both know they are not the only one. Perez Hilton, Gawker, Radar, Defamer, and others take a merciless approach to celebrity news by paying for sources.
Is your VIP Limousine Company leaking details about you?
Secure vip transportation - Protection not selling
TMZ for instance, has built a deep network of sources. When some TMZ e-mails were leaked to the New Yorker, they included payments to limousine services to provide lists of clients, their planned routes and destinations, even the license plate numbers of the vehicles. A former production assistant for TMZ, Justin Kaplin, spoke of handing over envelopes full of cash to limo companies. The process was so often, “We barely said a word to each other”. Then they proceed to work the destination venue as well, whether it’s a salon, restaurant, airline flight and more. One e-mail boasts that “It’s not an accident the guy with the camera is waiting at the Delta Airlines check-in counter at 8 A.M.”
Other emails tell of establishing a source at Uber for this type of information.
And these are the people you pay good money to, as they sell your information to the highest bidder.

We respectfully request that you contact ESS Global Corp – a leading executive protection and security firm.

Google VIP Transportation and you’ll see a list of limo companies with chauffeurs that have not been schooled in Close Protection, Evasive Driving Techniques, Venue Recon, Embus and Debus Planning, and other necessary protection practices that help ensure a safe and stress-free trip, as well as NOT sell your travel details to the online bidders. That’s a job for ESS Global Corp.
VIP Transportation
ESS knows how important it is for you to get to your destination both safely and in a timely manner.  It is for these reasons that all of our agents are trained and well versed in motorcade operations and evasive tactics. Each member of our team has been trained in defensive and evasive driving tactics as well as additional training at other agencies. The ESS Global promise is to get you to your destination not only safely, but comfortably as well.
Secure VIP Transportation
Once we know the destination, we will take all the necessary measures to ensure that your travel goes by without the slightest mishap. Many hours will go into planning your travel.  Our team will advance all possible routes and then choose what they believe to be the best possible routes for where it is that you want to go.  This is determined by many different factors that we take into account so that you don’t have to worry and wonder, you simply enjoy your ride.
Executive Protection 3
Not only do we take the time to choose the best route for you, but we will also put together embus and debus plans to make certain that you safely enter and exit your vehicle at each destination.  As in our Executive Protection and our Venue Security, we leave nothing to chance.

ESS Global Corporation, a leading executive protection and security firm, now has D.O.E. Executive Protection Training in Raleigh NC.  The first training is March 4-6 2016 and space is limited. Call Today.

D.O.E Executive Protection Training in Raleigh

ESS Global Corp, maintains an Executive Protection School that is currently the only state licensed Executive Protection School through the Florida Department of Education (and one of only a very few nationwide) and is also in the process of becoming Post 9/11 GI Bill approved by the Department of Veteran Affairs.

If You Are Serious About Executive Protection Training

If you are seriously thinking about a lucrative career in Executive Protection, you should know that the training differs significantly from;

  • Bodyguard Training
  • Close Protection Training
  • VIP Protection Training
  • Celebrity Protection Training
  • etc…

Executive Protection Training in Raleigh Because while the basic premise of a bodyguard goes back hundreds, if not thousands of years, “Executive Protection” is a relatively new field in the protection industry. Executive Protection was started in the 1970’s by the United States Secret Service when they created the Executive Protection Service to guard visiting foreign dignitaries.
Executive Protection Training in Raleigh - D.O.E Approved
Also, if you are considering a career in the rapidly growing executive protection field, know that in the protection/security industry, there is no “license”, there is no state testing, and their are no state boards in most states. Consequently, in nearly every state, Executive Protection Training is usually lumped into the same category as Security Guards or Private Investigation and has very little to do with either. Yet we see training to earn your “certified protection specialist credentials” advertised online on various websites. Unfortunately, nobody is regulating these schools, training centers and trainers. So know this; No government agency regulates or monitors what is taught and who is teaching it. Thus, anybody off the street could be teaching you, and you could be paying for false, misleading, inaccurate information. So the “protection credentials” you are handed at the end of the training, is simply a piece of paper from the trainer and nothing more.
This is exactly where the ESS Global Executive Protection Training School differs. We are licensed and our curriculum and instructors are all regulated and monitored by the D.O.E., and, only a select few elite schools are D.O.E. approved and certified for executive protection training.
Real Executive Protection Training in Raleigh
Ask any Secret Service Agent. They know that D.O.E. Executive Protection Training has more in common with Secret Service techniques, than what “Sammy’s Bodyguard Training” offers. Most bodyguards fresh out of school, are unable to define or discuss basic processes that are absolutely central to Executive Protection training such as; Threat Assessment, Advance Tactics, Route Reconnaissance, Area Surveillance, Movement Safety, Situational Awareness, Defensive Driving and Evasion, Crowd Control, Vehicle Placement/Movement, Embus and Debus plans, and more.
Ask anyone in the Secret Service or Military Special Ops. Hands down, it’s Executive Protection Training, with brains over brawn.
In addition to Executive Protection Training, ESS Global also has Advanced Executive Protection training courses covering;

How is ESS D.O.E. Executive Protection Training in Raleigh different?

Here in Raleigh, you’ll be taught by ESS Global Executive Protection training instructors that have protected politicians, executives, celebrities, and other high net worth individuals around the world on a regular basis. What is Executive Protection?

Posted on

What is Executive Protection and how does it differ from hiring a bodyguard? Executive Protection, also known as “Close Protection”, “VIP Protection” “Bodyguard” and “Personal Protection” refers to security measures taken to ensure the safety of VIPs or other individuals who may be exposed to elevated personal risk because of their employment, celebrity status, wealth, associations or geographical location.
So while all these phrases seem interchangeable, there is no doubt from professional security-minded people that Executive Protection sits squarely at the apex of the protection industry.
what is executive protection
While there have been many Hollywood productions of bodyguard movies, showing fistfights, gunfights and car chases, even at the level of Executive Protection, the object is to avoid those situations, including the romance depicted in a certain Kevin Costner movie.

What is Executive Protection?

Now this is going to upset some people, but the facts are this. Most bodyguard trainers say they have Executive Protection Training, but it’s in name only.

While the basic premise of a bodyguard goes back hundreds if not thousands of years, Executive Protection is a relatively new field. Executive Protection was coined in the 1970s by the United States Secret Service when they created the Executive Protection Service to guard visiting foreign dignitaries.

How Executive Protection Differs from Bodyguards for Our Clients

Even most bodyguards wonder “What is Executive Protection?” Why? Most bodyguards have never heard such words as Threat Assessment, Advance Tactics, Route Reconnaissance, Embus and Debus plans, Area Surveillance, Movement Safety, etc. These guys usually show up on the day of an event/gig and depend on physical deterrence. The problem with that is, there is usually someone in the crowd that no matter how big you are, they will still try something foolish. A lot of times, purposely, in an effort to get you to go hands on with them and then collect a payday in the form of a lawsuit or out of court settlement/payoff. Just ask Justin Bieber.
what is executive protection - the apex of the protection industry
If you are considering Professional Executive Protection for yourself, your family, or a group, either in the US or abroad, you’d best call a Real Executive Protection Company. We’d like you to consider ESS Global Corp, and here’s why. As one of only a handful of Department of Education licensed and approved Executive Protection Schools (and the only D.O.E. Approved Executive Protection School in Florida), we continually train Executive Protection Agents around the world and we keep the  very best students for our client protection projects in over 60 countries.  You owe it to yourself to call us.

How Executive Protection Training Differs from Bodyguard Training

Most folks who have paid for Bodyguard Training have never taken the D.O.E. Executive Protection Classes ESS Global offers such as;

In the protection industry, there is no “license”, no testing, and no boards in most states. Executive Protection is usually lumped into the same category as Security Guards or Private Investigation and has little to do with either. Yet we see training to earn your “certified protection specialist credentials” advertised online. Unfortunately, nobody is regulating these schools, training centers and trainers. Meaning, nobody regulates or monitors what is taught and who is teaching it. Anybody off the street could be teaching you false information and you are paying for it. So your “protection credential” is a piece of paper from the trainer and nothing more.
floridasonlylicensedepschool-1024x398
This is exactly where ESS Global Executive Protection School differs. We are licensed and our curriculum and instructors are all regulated and monitored by the D.O.E. And, only a few elite schools are D.O.E. approved and certified for executive protection.
Having a government certified protection school on your resume is a big plus, and a great way to get started.
In Summary, Executive Protection is more in line with Secret Service Protection, than taking phones and smashing them when Bodyguards are bewildered on how to handle a situation.

  • ESS Global - what is executive protectionSo if you are looking for the very best is security and protection for your company, yourself, or your family, you owe it to yourself to call ESS Global Corp.
  • If you’ve been “trained” before, you should call us and let’s talk about furthering your career.
  • Lastly, if you are considering a career in the Protection Industry, we’ll answer your questions, including “What is Executive Protection?” and we won’t feed you lies and misrepresentations.

That’s Our Promise to our students at the school, as well as our valued clients around the world.

Businesses have to deal daily with the harsh reality that thefts and other crimes can occur on business premises. Some businesses, such as convenience stores, banks, and retail stores, among others, may be more of a target for criminals and thieves than other types, but a wide variety of businesses choose to hire security guards. Guards can be used to prevent crime, maintain security, and assist both customers and employees.

Security

padlock-597495_640
The very presence of a security guard at a business can provide peace of mind and a sense of security to business owners, employees and customers. Employees that work in high-risk areas are easier to retain, as well as more productive when they don’t need to worry about their personal safety. It also lets customers know that you are concerned about their security and willing to take the proper precautions to insure their safety. This may be particularly important for businesses that deal in expensive merchandise or located in high-crime areas or are a 24 hour concern.

Prevention

armed tampa security guards
Simply having a security guard present is the best deterrent to crime. A guard is a greater visual deterrent than either camera surveillance or a standard security system. Using ESS Global Tampa Security Guards sends a message to would-be criminals that you are serious about the security of your business. Thieves will think twice about targeting a business that has uniformed protection. ESS Tampa Security Guards are trained to look for suspicious activity on the spot. They can assess a situation and react to security accordingly as trained. Hiring trained and licensed Tampa Security Guards from a reputable company like ESS Global Corp can ensure that the guard behaves capably and sensibly when faced with criminal activity on business premises.

Executive Protection or Bodyguard?

Posted on

Executive Protection or Bodyguard. It’s a question that floats around here often. Are we a bodyguard school or an executive protection school?

Executive Protection or Bodyguard?

Executive protection r bodyguard training - There is a difference
Well, according to the Department of Education, we are a “Protection School” so that seems to place us in executive protection. But if you ask the CEO of ESS Global Corp, Theo Billiris, it is only a question in the student’s mind.
“In our industry, that is, as it relates to the true professionals, we never call ourselves bodyguards. Reason being, is that bodyguard usually brings to mind the stereotype of the big muscle guy that has almost no brain power. These are also the same individuals that have little, or in most cases, no training. These are the guys that usually become a liability to their clients and cause them harm rather than prevent it.”
“But when we advertise training, we need to mention “bodyguard” because most people don’t know the term “Executive Protection” nor do they realize that true professionals actually exsist.”
Mr. Billiris believes the training provides the best definition.
Executive protection or bodyguard? - Training makes the difference
“Most bodyguards never heard such words as Threat Assessment, Advance Work, Route Reconnaissance, Embus and Debus plans, area surveillance, movement safety, etc. These guys usually show up on the day of an event/gig and depend on physical deterrence. The problem with that is, there is usually someone in the crowd that no matter how big you are, they will still try something foolish. A lot of times, purposely, in an effort to get you to go hands on with them and then collect a pay day in the form of a lawsuit or out of court settlement/payoff. Just ask Justin Bieber.”
Then of course, how do others view the difference between executive protection and bodyguards?
“Security Professionals who want to bolster their résumé with a certification from a school that meets a standard acceptable to the government (D.O.E.) and to the corporate world and has a reputation in the security industry should call us. We are the only protection school in the state of Florida that is approved by the US Department of Education and only one of a handful in the entire country. So that stands out in a resume.”
What is the biggest problem in the protection training industry?
executive protection or bodyguard? - executive protection!
“What’s frustrating is that if you go to court, your attorney passed the bar. A standardized test. Same if you have open heart surgery. They passed the boards. These people are licensed. In the protection industry, there is no “license”, no testing, and no boards in most states. Executive Protection is usually lumped into the same category as Security Guards or Private Investigation and has little to do with either. Yet, online we see training to earn your “certified protection specialist credentials” and they are in “high demand”. Unfortunately, nobody is regulating these schools or training centers. Meaning, nobody regulates or monitors what is taught and who is teaching it. Anybody off the street could be teaching you false information and you are paying for it. So a “protection credential” is a piece of paper from the trainer and nothing more. This is where ESS Global Executive Protection School differs. We are licensed and our curriculum and instructors are all regulated and monitored by the D.O.E. And, only a few elite schools are D.O.E. approved and certified for executive protection. Having a government certified protection school on your resume is a big plus, and a great way to get started.”
