Bodyguard Recruitment– Most every close protection companies will tell you they hire former military special ops, retired Secret Service agents, law enforcement, and the like. Sure, and we do as well. But ESS Global also has an edge that absolutely no other company in Florida has. As a matter of fact, only a select handful in the US have this same edge. Choosing The Best– Fact: ESS Global Corporation also runs a Close Protection School. ESS Global Corp is the only Protection School in the state of Florida that is licensed and approved by the Department of Education. This is a well-known fact in the security business. So the best candidates know where to go to get world-class training. And we get to see those agents every day during training, offering positions to the best of the best in each and every class, providing a consistent level of quality, awareness and skills that other security companies never attain because they never know the agent’s skill set until they are out in the field. In the Close Protection industry, that can be dangerous.

In most every state, there is no oversight of the Executive Protection Industry. No licenses, no state certifications.
Now, the requirements to enter the Executive Protection industry would be much easier if it were classified under the class D License, but at the same time, what types of individuals would now, by law, qualify to do Executive Protection work?
“Which defensive tactics work best?” This is a question that defensive tactics experts and bodyguard instructors have debated and continue to debate. But, in reality, the answer is simple. I don’t care what defensive tactics or martial arts discipline you train in or feel that you have mastered, because the answer is always the same. ALL experienced executive protection agents will agree that the best defensive tactic we have as agents, that will give us the greatest chance of survival and least chance of injury to us or our clients, is AVOIDANCE.
The official birthday of the United States Marine Corps is on 10 November 1775. That was the day when the Second Continental Congress established the Continental Marines
By tradition, the first slice of cake is given to the oldest Marine present, who in turn hands it off to the youngest Marine present, symbolizing the old and experienced Marines passing their knowledge to the new generation of Marines.
ESS Global Corp provides Black Friday and Christmas Season store security in Florida because for business owners, the holiday season brings security concerns for every type of business, big or small, service or retail.
This holiday season as your store begins to fill up, dishonest shoppers and untrustworthy seasonal employees will see it as a more appealing place to take what they’d like without stopping to pay the bill.
Most shoplifters are opportunistic and behave rationally.
Part of the difficulty in the bodyguard/ close protection/ executive protection industry is in most states, there are no licensing or oversights involved. In short, this means anyone can “teach” anything. Maybe even teach practices that are inherently dangerous given there is no state governance.
Over the past decade, many schools and universities have gone “online”. While we have no doubt that that is a viable option if you are taking accounting courses, it certainly doesn’t apply to Executive Protection.
In our research, Executive Protection Training 3-day courses tend to run from $350 to a high of $1500.
